Can a man with a penile implant that does not work anymore, still get an erection using viagra or cialis? The implant I received no longer works and I can't afford a replacement at present. Would the meds like viagra, cialis, or enzyte work?
xbikakingx replied: "yep, they would. ive had that problem, then i got it replaced, so now im good."
Orinoco replied: "Probably not.
It depends on the nature of the implant. Particularly if the implant has put stiffening material in the place of your corpora cavernosa (the natural part of the penis which becomes engorged with blood and causes the erection).
Discuss this with your doctor."
NaturalCuresGuy replied: "Procalis-x will work.
"
firestarter replied: "Hi there sorry for your troubles. Penile implants do vary depending what time period they are inserted. If removed, erections will not be possible. Viagra and the other related drugs can enhance the erection giving more pleasure to the person with a functioning implant but will not give the desired erection with a nonfuctioning implant. Enzyte does not work. It is an over the counter supplement and includes a disclaimer and is not regulated by the FDA. I think they are tied up in litigation at this time. May you acquire the money you need to get a new implant. Things will improve for you."
donalore_43 replied: "Very doubtful my friend. See a sex therapist who can lead u right direction."
Pamela B replied: "Please ask a doctor, for the love of God!

How long does it take Cialis to work? What can I expect. Does it give me an erection or does it just cause my current erection to last longer? Does it give me sexual drive, cause me to last longer, what???
King Derrick Lovebug replied: "It takes less than half an hour...it will give you a very responsive and strong erection, and allow you to get hard again quicker after you ejaculate... it will not increase your sex drive or help you last longer
If you are looking for ways to increase sex drive, last longer during sex, and strengthen erections, there are exercises for all that
You might want to check out this guide instead of using prescription medication you don't need:"
does cialis work for younger people? i am 17 years old and some of my friends say that taking cialis will help stay erect so i wont have to worry about "going soft". is this true i am healthy and i wrestle and sometimes have trouble staying erect.
anlibeth2000 replied: "Men of your age do not need cialis for sexual activities. But it would help people age 40 and above to improve their erection, however it could help you to improve better."
Barcode replied: "Don't consider it unless you consult your doctor first. It would be embarrassing if you got an erection that lasted more than 4 hours & end up in the Emergency Room. Also, many people, taking Viagra or Cialis experience a sudden drop in blood pressure. You might miss out on all the fun if your dead."
When Cialis does work? I never tried them but want to. Im32 years old and have problem with immature ejaculation during sex. I went to a doctor and he prescribed cialis. Now my question is When I take , doesn it kick in only when im with my partner (i.e. starting foreplay..etc.) or can it work and ust being alone in my room lets say watching porn?
DOMINIC replied: "too bad"
Sky replied: "It works regardless:alone or with your partner
It takes some time to kick in.
Sky"
Fox T replied: "YES!"
baldie replied: "it doesnt work by itself, your woman has a job to do too, to get you arroused, before it starts to work."
What effect does Cialis have on your nocturnal erections? For those with ED or not (please state which you are), since Cialis is in your system over night while you're asleep, what effect does it have on your nocturnal erections? Thanks.
JD replied: "It has NO effect on nocturnal erections..(Former ED issues)"
JS replied: "About me - no erectile dysfunction but taking cialis time after time.
Most likely cialis has no effect on nocturnal erections, at least I never experienced any.
a good site for these issues . it is an online community of viagra cialis levitra users with good info and message board. the site has also got price comparison for cheapest reputable online pharmacies."
**Llola** replied: "I'm not sure what effect it would have but I'm wanting to know too..."
Does Cialis work like they claim it does? Any women or men's opinions would be appreciated. If you can, compare it to the effectiveness of Viagra.
kinacl replied: "I'm a nurse. I feel you have to find the one that will work best for you. Try as many as you need to get the desired results. Take care."
Joachin Murrieta replied: "Works a lot more gently with more subdued side effects compared to Viagra. Viagra hits like a ton of lead and will give you "blue steel" Cialis will do the same but it "nicer" about it. It is just as effective as Viagra and lasts about 12 hours....not the 36 hours like the ads claim"
john w replied: "The history of Cialis cannot be discussed without mentioning Viagra or Pfizer. The FDA's approval on March 27, 1998, lead both of these prescription drugs, Viagra and Pfizer, to a ground breaking success in just the first year of introduction as they sold drugs worth over a billion dollars. However, things changed considerably for the two giants of erectile dysfunction drugs when the FDA also approved Levitra in August 19, 2003, and Cialis in November 21, 2003. In 1993 the drug company Icos began studying IC351, which is a PDE5 enzyme inhibiter, and this is basically the process through which the erectile dysfunction drugs work. In 1994, Pfizer scientists discovered that Sildenafil Citrate, which is a white crystalline powder that temporarily normalizes erectile function of the penis by blocking an enzyme known to inhibit the production of a chemical that causes erections, caused the heart patients that were participating in a clinical study of a heart medicine to have erections. Although the scientists were not testing the chemical compound IC351 for erectile dysfunction, the compound seem to have a side effect which could potentially worth million, if not billions. Soon Icos received its very first patent in 1994 on IC351, and the clinical trials of phase I took place in 1995. In 1997, phase II clinical studies began and Icos performed its first study on patients with erectile dysfunction. Phase II lasted about two years, and after that phase III began. In 1998, ICOS Corporation, and Eli Lilly and Company, commercialized the drug for erectile dysfunction, and two year later, they filed a new drug application with the U.S. Food and Drug Admisnistration for IC351, only difference was that this time they decided to call the drug, Cialis. In May of 2002, Icos and Eli Lilly and Company reported to the American Urological Association that the phase III tests show that Cialis works for up to 36 hours, and one year later Icos and Eli Lilly and Company received the U.S. FDA's approval for Cialis. One advantage that Cialis has over Viagra is that Cialis works for up to 36 hours as compared to 4 hours for Viagra.
Viagra, Levitra and Cialis work in much the same way. Chemically known as phosphodiesterase inhibitors, these drugs enhance the effects of nitric oxide, a chemical messenger that relaxes smooth muscles in the penis. This increases the amount of blood and allows a natural sequence to occur an erection in response to sexual stimulation. These medications don't automatically produce an erection. Instead they allow an erection to occur after physical and psychological stimulation. Many men experience improvement in erectile function after taking these medications regardless of the cause of their impotence.
These medications share many similarities, but they have differences as well. They vary in dosage, duration of effectiveness and possible side effects. Other distinctions for example, which drug is best for certain types of men aren't yet known. No study has directly compared these three medications."
Kickstand replied: "Cialis is not nearly as effective as Viagra. The newest technique out there involves taking Cialis the "night before" and Viagra the "day of" a sexual encounter. If that combination doesn't accomplish providing a solid, lasting erection nothing will work.
Remember the old Chevy ads....."Like a Rock!""
John Doe replied: "Basically, yes. They both do the same thing.
I think Cialis is supposed to have either a quicker effect; possibly last longer, but I did not find that to be an important selling point for myself.
Viagra will begin to do it's job in about 30 minutes, just like most any other drug, and I find that it's effects last a good long time. For example, if we have sex around 6-7 PM, and I get up the next morning and I'm in the mood to masturbate, I can tell that the quality of the erection is still much greater than normal. The drug is still doing its thing."
If my doctor prescribes Cialis once a day to me, does that mean I have unlimited refills? Or do I have to go to my doctor whenever I need to have a refill?
If your doctor has prescribed Cialis to you, please explain how you take the pill and how you get more of them.
Lastly, how much does it cost you annually?
-Thank You
HuggyKat replied: "Excuse me for asking this, but have you never had a prescription before? They all work the same way. if your doctor prescribes this medication to you, he/she will explain how to take the medication and how many refills he/she is going to give you. Typically this is part of the doc/patient conversation.
When the prescription is filled, as with any prescription, there is a consultation if you have any questions about how to take the medication or about the prescription in general. There should be an indication for refills on your prescription bottle. It should show a number of refills left or it might say "Refills=O Must be approved by your doctor".
Was this medication given to you by your doctor? If not, it's never a safe idea to take medication unless prescribed by a doctor."
DontCallMeYank replied: "A prescription is usually filled once for thirty days. If you need more of it after thirty days then you need to see your doctor.
Sometimes they will extend them for a three months supply but not often.
If you do not see 'refill' on the bottle that means it is only for a one time use per amount of pills."
