Have any of you women used Cialis? Long story, but my boyfriend and I have both used Viagra (half tablet) to great effect. He's now got hold of some Cialis, and I wondered if any WOMEN have taken it, and what was the result. BTW, we're both healthy and are aware of dangers/side effects etc, just wanted to know if it made a good thing even better!!! Yahoo wouldn't let this post in Womens health Baby Dolls - right, we don't need it, it's recreational. We're both in our thirties and are aware of risks. I want to know if it has an effect on women in the same way Viagra has, or not.

indesisive0000 replied: "ummm your in mens health lol"

Baby Dolls replied: "~The first answer was correct. This question is for women and should be in "Women's Health." Why are you taking Viagra? If I'm not mistaken, there's a Viagra for men and a different kind of Viagra for women? It doesn't sound like you need it, don't mess around with that stuff. Cialis is the same, it's for men, right? You are going to get lectured, because you aren't suppose to take anything that isn't prescribed to either of you. If it's not broke, don't fix it. He could end up having problems later on getting an erection. Either one of you could end up in the ER. Don't take this lightly! You obviously aren't aware of the dangers, because you already took Viagra, now you're going to take Cialis.~"

sweetgogana2006 replied: "a back round check for all ED drugs : when they were trying to create medicine, for soemthing dealing with i forget what, it did soemthing for the blood. it helped blood flow those men who was on the tiral said it enhanced their perfermance in bed, so whatever the drug was origianlly for, became the ED drugs of now for a side note, they r corrently testing the ED drugs in kids, both girls and boys, for the original reason hey, i just releazid what it was for, it might have been diabeties"

racyragtop replied: "It's much the same effect as Viagra, but lasts much longer. 36 hours is not unusual!!! Best taken on a Friday eve for the weekend of your life! Enjoy!! my g/f and I have both taken it together and apart from a headache (which could be down to drinking and lack of sleep) there were no side effects, but the intensity and amount of sex wore both of us out. We took a week to recover the first time and we were both sore for days!! Recently tried it again but paced ourselves and got more sleep. Do it!!"

I want to know if women think that men are better lovers after having taken Viagra or Cialis? I mean there must be a difference after all.

maddyhill replied: "as long as u can get your di*k hard and it stays hard till I c*m. i don't care if you take a banana and apple."

joelle l replied: "no its not better its scary"

How does viagra affect women who take it? Ok it probably has been asked a million times so this makes it a million and one. But how does products like viagra and cialis affect women who take it? I'm asking because my human sexuality teacher was talking to me about an episode of sex in the city where one of the women takes viagra, enjoys it and continues to take it so much that she can't enjoy sex with it. I don't know if that is true. But I thought I'd ask if there was any positive affect at all.

HerHuggyBunny replied: "Chemically, it does exactly the same thing to women that it does to men - it makes nitric oxide more available in the genital tissues. For men, this makes it easier for their penises to get and stay erect, but for women the effect is a bit different: The extra blood that's available for engorgement makes a woman's clitoris and labia a little more swollen than would normally happen and that makes them a little more sensitive to stimulation... and the blood that engorges the vaginal lining is the source of some extra lubricating fluids that will be available - so she'll be wetter/slipperier than usual too. A lot of doctors (even though the FDA hasn't yet approved it for this use) prescribe the stuff to women who have trouble with lubrication, arousal and/or orgasm due to antidepressant medication side-effects. It does *not* make you hornier or change your sex drive at all.... I've been taking the stuff for years (I have MS that makes erections difficult for me) and all it does is make it possible for me to get hard when I *am* horny... but it does make you a lot more responsive."

Dari M replied: "Well i took it once and WOW....."

amandaplease1162 replied: "idk. dont try to take it lol"

Taylor B replied: "increases blood flow to the "area," resulting in increased pleasure"

Jim B replied: "Viagra is a Vaso-dialator. It opens the blood vessels and increases blood volume. It used to be used on heart patients before it was found to have an interesting side effect in men with erectile dysfunction. It does not make you horny, it is not an aphrodisiac."

Fact Guy replied: "Viagra isn't just a vasodilator. Yes, Nitric Oxide plays a role in the process, but most importantly it inhibits an enzyme called phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE5). This enzyme is what keeps men from getting an erection. So inhibiting the enzyme doesn't cause an erection, rather it allows you to get one if you are aroused. Some women claim that it works for them (aids in lubrication, etc), but some women claim it didn't do much."

Does Cialis work for women? I was just wondering if there is any women out there that have taken cialis. I know it's for men, and I know the side effects. I just want to know if it really works for women too

C N replied: "it can help blood flow to ur vagina and women do use it illegally"

redrosediane replied: "The directions distinctly states for men only. Maybe one day the men, who want to lay down with us, will think of something besides getting us an aspirin for a headache. There is something wrong when there are more medications for men as if they are the only one in the bed. Right now, we only have foreplay."

Jim B replied: "Yes, your penis will get really hard. Call a doctor for an erection lasting more than 4 hours. Cialis helps a guy achieve and maintain an erection. It DOES NOT increase his sex drive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

kantanshi replied: "I would imagine it wouldn't be suggested. I believe both act on male hormones. Check out the following link."

Courtney <3 Josiah replied: "they are fore men. women have their own kind of pills that help them with that kind of problem."

Mondella replied: "IT wasn't intended for women to use but I have heard some have taken it and it helped. No one yet knows about side effects."

Freddy replied: "----- interesting info found >> In 2004, Pfizer Inc., the makers of the Viagra pillintroduced to improve mens sexual health and functioningannounced that they would be abandoning eight years of previous research conducted in an attempt to develop a drug similar to Viagra to improve female libido and sexual health. Other products designed to improve sexual health in women are available, but can these Viagra alternatives provide effective results when it comes in increasing sexual desire in women? How Does Viagra Work? Viagra works by blocking an enzyme that acts as an inhibitor of blood flow. In men, this can cause penile tissue to swell. When a man takes Viagra, there is an increase in blood flow to the genital areas, which thus helps to treat erectile dysfunction or impotence in men. The same enzyme inhibitor affecting male sexual dysfunction influences pelvic blood flow in women. The Viagra research team attempted to find a link between arousal in women and pelvic blood flow in the early stages of trials. However, this attempt failed, and some researchers even suggested that genital arousal in women does not necessarily produce sexual desire in women as it typically does in men. Women may define sexual arousal based on mental and emotional, as well as biological factors. According to some of the researchers working on the Viagra team, Viagra for women or a Viagra alternative may help women facing sexual dysfunction due to side effects of other medication. In cases where sexual desire is inhibited due to emotional or psychological factors, a female Viagra solution may not be applicable."
