Is it ok for women to take Viagra, or Cialis? anything harmful to females in these pharmaceuticals? do you, miss, or madam, take these regularly or often, and experience desired results without negative effects? any medical opinions out there on this question?

bundygil replied: "It won't hurt them, but won't do anything to make them horny. Much better if you take them."

Paul replied: "If your a women, why would you want to take Viagra or Cialis? If you looking to experiment with anything talk to your doctor first, Because Viagra can kill you if used irresponsibly."

How does viagra affect women who take it? Ok it probably has been asked a million times so this makes it a million and one. But how does products like viagra and cialis affect women who take it? I'm asking because my human sexuality teacher was talking to me about an episode of sex in the city where one of the women takes viagra, enjoys it and continues to take it so much that she can't enjoy sex with it. I don't know if that is true. But I thought I'd ask if there was any positive affect at all.

HerHuggyBunny replied: "Chemically, it does exactly the same thing to women that it does to men - it makes nitric oxide more available in the genital tissues. For men, this makes it easier for their penises to get and stay erect, but for women the effect is a bit different: The extra blood that's available for engorgement makes a woman's clitoris and labia a little more swollen than would normally happen and that makes them a little more sensitive to stimulation... and the blood that engorges the vaginal lining is the source of some extra lubricating fluids that will be available - so she'll be wetter/slipperier than usual too. A lot of doctors (even though the FDA hasn't yet approved it for this use) prescribe the stuff to women who have trouble with lubrication, arousal and/or orgasm due to antidepressant medication side-effects. It does *not* make you hornier or change your sex drive at all.... I've been taking the stuff for years (I have MS that makes erections difficult for me) and all it does is make it possible for me to get hard when I *am* horny... but it does make you a lot more responsive."

Dari M replied: "Well i took it once and WOW....."

amandaplease1162 replied: "idk. dont try to take it lol"

Taylor B replied: "increases blood flow to the "area," resulting in increased pleasure"

Jim B replied: "Viagra is a Vaso-dialator. It opens the blood vessels and increases blood volume. It used to be used on heart patients before it was found to have an interesting side effect in men with erectile dysfunction. It does not make you horny, it is not an aphrodisiac."

Fact Guy replied: "Viagra isn't just a vasodilator. Yes, Nitric Oxide plays a role in the process, but most importantly it inhibits an enzyme called phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE5). This enzyme is what keeps men from getting an erection. So inhibiting the enzyme doesn't cause an erection, rather it allows you to get one if you are aroused. Some women claim that it works for them (aids in lubrication, etc), but some women claim it didn't do much."

viagra , OK LADIES what do you think of men that take viagra just for fun? you know having more sex,, i know guys that do that with their ladies for more fun time, but i hear some women getting upset about it,,complaining that their men take it,, why is that, they dont complain about the extra sex just the blue bill

rusty71987 replied: "why take it if you truly dont need to!? It only makes your deed suffer in the long run because if its not around to take you cant control yourself as long. Wouldnt you rather be able to practice self control? It makes the man seem more powerful and confident when he doesnt depend on a pill."

BabeHeart replied: "I've got no issue with it...I've known guys who took it recreationally, typically so they could have more than one partner in a night (swingers). Why would it matter? A lot of guys can't keep it up as long as they might like to, so if medical science can help them out I'm all for that.... "

cmagouirk replied: "If you take a presciption drug that you don't NEED to take its not only bad (I'm assuming this isn't under doctor supervision) its bordering on drug abuse."

Pookie Poo replied: "Shoot.. if my husband took viagra just every once in a while for fun... I'd be all over it! (As long as it wasn't happening all the time.. that wouldn't be healthy.. and it'd get expensive) But hell.. if it means we get to have sex longer and more frequently.. lets do it!"

claudiacake replied: "I just think they are ignorant. No one should ever take a medication that they don't need. Viagra hasn't been out there a really long time. Who knows what the effects may be, years from now? Wouldn't it be funny if Viagra were like laxatives....the more you take, the more dependent upon it you become, until you can't "function" without it. For the guys who just take it for more sack time, it would become a self-fulfilling prophecy."

The Beast replied: "they would be able to get things straight without asking for help. it would also be the first time they didn't complain about regularly being so stiff. that being said, buying a flagpole for the home should involve at least one two-sided conversation."

junebug replied: "Viagra is one of the best inventions. I am totally in favor of him using Viagra. Do you know how many guys can't please their woman because they don't have that much stamina. Instead of her being frustrated... she is satisfied for once. Amen Viagra. It makes her happy, and she will not leave a man that knows how to tear it up... but she will leave if you can't satisfy her in the bedroom, along with other issues. Why do you think we like the young guys.. because they can go and go and always want it, verses the older men who have all the stresses of the work place, and financial worries, the children... etc. It helps everyone. However, Viagra should not be used with alcohol."

What are the benefits of Viagra versus looking a woman in the eyes and having that mutual attraction going on? What did men and women do in a pre-Viagra world? Do we need a pill for everything now? Will we adults cry or something unless there's a pill for it now? What is this world coming to? Geez...do I need a pill to cope with a world that relies on a pill for every little affliction?!! Psychologist's opinions welcome, but don't suggest any pills, ok?

Miss Meanie replied: "Apparently, you're under 50! LOL"

The wife of Two Sense has spoken replied: "okay, for you I suggest the pump- you seem like a hands on type of guy"

Jackson B replied: "apparently you don't have a clue the true purpose"

Sarah J replied: "I think you need to take a chill pill =P"

bigjohn B replied: "Viagra is NOT a sexual attractant, it only works if there already is an attraction and stimulation. Viagra does nothing to increase libido, that is nothing, nothing. All it does is lower blood pressure, in this case in the penis, so that blood can flow in and create an erection. Why don't people read and know about things before the comment?"

desiree replied: "i'm not a psychologist, but i've thought of this before and my conclusion is that in 'pre-viagra' times, people didn't know about ED and therefore didn't worry about it. just like OCD and bi-polar disorder, and all that stuff. once the disease and name for it exists, then there needs to be a pill to cure it, or else everyone will think they have it, it's all in our heads, my friend"

Sandra M replied: "Apparently you have never tried viagra, LMAO"

Cynthia replied: "Yes, it should just be love, and love alone, that Lifts us Up Where we Belong"

Puddinhead replied: "I think there were just so many of us baby boomers coming of age in the last couple decades. We wanted everything; we wanted it now, and we wanted it super-sized. Everything from our 401K retirement plans to our vehicles. And if we ached or felt any pangs of pain, we wanted a pill to make it go away. If our tickers weren't ticking or our peckers weren't pecking, we wanted a pill for that. And we got it all. Now we're a bunch of spoiled grownups."

blueJean replied: "one can hope for that mutual attraction ...pills won't fill that void..."

numbsain? replied: "1 pill: dewitall Well, with viagra you probably can't look a woman in the eyes because you'll be blind or at least she'll look bluish. The other great advantage of viaga is that you don't have to have a mutual attraction. In fact she doesn't even need to be human, take enough of those puppies and you'll be out on a date with your erection. You're right Dave, parents give kids pills for puberty these days, like its a disease or something, Sorry you're feeling bad son but your mother and I are too busy to talk about it or give you any emotional support, besides she's on prozac and I'm on viagra so you don't want to be around me...at least not directly in front of me. Go watch TV. (click) Do you suffer from shyness, restlessness, pimpleyness? Are you between the ages 13 to 16? Studies show that you could benefit from Pubertose. 764 out of 765 doctors prescribe Pubertose without even seeing the patient and patients who have taken Pubertose don't even remember why. Ask your doctor to give you Pubertose and quit your belly-aching you whiney little brat. Hey dad, I found some thing that will make me better on TV! Can I have $60 for a bottle of Pu Sure son, heres $200 just get two bottles and leave me alone. Can't you see I'm busy trying to get my penis out of this damn ketchup bottle! Erectile dysfunction is caused by bad diet. Too much acid in the system. Not good for the willy."

Loose Change replied: "Viagra sucks. Cialis rocks. And with Cialis the eye contact thing will work any ol' time within 48 hours. No need to plan ahead and ruin the spontaneity. A pill helps for her benefit because you go long long time sailor boy."

nurse.susiep replied: "Take a deep breath in and slowly let it out... repeat until you are calmer... Now to answer your question...we do seem to want to rely on pills to fix every little thing... We were given great imaginations to use to figure things out, but instead we want things/answers handed to us on silver platters. I don't think our generation is as bad as the one following us...but still. We need to take responsibility, step up, and use those imaginations we had as kids."

Dune replied: "I am going to need a thinking pill for this one. Damn none left, so I will just ad lib. No, that didn't work either."

Snookie Baby! replied: "O man, I don't know cose no one ever needed a pill when around me so! I am the pill! Love Pearl"

Ok want a good laugh.. At the vets office today a woman asked if there was Doggy Viagra for her male dog? Yep he male dog cant get it up. He is 3 years old and wont mate with her female that is in full heat. She wanted to know if our vet could give her some Viagra. She wanted to know if she could give her dog some of her grandfathers Viagra. I about died. Our Vet said No that her dog probably wasnt ready yet and to give it a day or two. I then asked him and yes Boneral is for animals, and it helps with libedo. Just so you know I believe the lady is a little strange in the head and the Vet encourages to have her little darling Chihuahua's Fixed. She only has the two and the mom as two pups when she was bred before. She is just worries to much. (oh makes nothing off of them she gives them away to good homes the vet helps her with that) she is just strange. (not justifying just explaining.. I would have it fixed.

hugsandhissyfits replied: "lol people amaze me.Never a dull moment."

LuvMyBT! replied: "I don't think that is funny at all. It is actually really sad that this woman is more interested in breeding her dogs than what her dog is trying to tell her. She is exactly why irresponsible breeding needs to stop!"

Yo LO! replied: "LMAO...There was someone a little while ago here that asked about doggie condoms - Her dog was a virgin and she didn't want him to be a father, but she didn't want him to be a virgin. NOTHING surprises me anymore after being here for over a year!"

your_gurl_leah replied: "Whoa, never knew. But that is silly to ask. Why not let it naturally happen? Oh well, crazy world we live in. You gotta love it!"

Emma B replied: "thank you so much!! Have you ever just stopped at the super market and looked around at people i swear you will always find somethi9ng funny anyway LOL LOL LOL LMAO"

Cindy (is a petfinder) replied: "I honestly can't believe there is a drug for dogs for that. What company makes it and how much can they possibly make? I mean good lord... of all the problems to worry about that is one that is relatively minor. If you are a show breeder, you can do AI."

Frozen96 replied: "It sounds like neither the dog or the owner should be breeding. I've heard a lot of ridiculous questions at the Vets, but this is a new one. Thanks for sharing."

~PUPPY LOVER~ replied: "How old are you??? If you are under 11 years old, you don't need to be talking about this! But, I do agree that it is kind of funny."

clarkz2001 replied: "LOL and i know this is gonna cost me--BUT--a little hand job may not hurt--to get him started!!!!!"

I'MA G!!! replied: "I DON'T NEED NO VIAGRA B!TCH I HANG, I HANG REAL LOW. BUT I DON'T NEED NO VIAGRA MY SH1T PUMPS UP BY ITSELF.LOL."

Andrew Aitaken replied: "Not much. You need to please your woman or she will go elsewhere for her pleasing."

Dude w/Gay Hat! replied: "when the day comes that I need it, I'll be buying it in Bulk from Costco..."

Mike replied: "I wouldn't expect anything. I feel like it is the mans obligation to make the lady feel good and have orgasms."

sanilacboy replied: "I am up in my years... Viagra does what it is supposed to do. I took a half dose of the 100 mg pill for several years and it was adequate. However, i had to move up to the full dosage as the arrousal time shortened and I got older. I am now taking a cheaper substitute for Viagra furnished by my insurance company and it isn't as good as far as hardness goes but is better than nothing. As far as your 2nd question goes I wouldn't need any help from drugs if my partner was an ardent oralist. SB"

Are all these commercials ok to air? Kids, parents, and other people watch prime time TV. But suddenly Viagra or something else comes on. Ok If I'm watching something, and I see a sexual commercial, I think that is a bit much don't you? Especially for women and Yaz. I think that's a personal issue and shouldnt be broadcasted do you?

Jason B replied: "No one cares anymore these days. Its all about the cash."

ok my boy mate asked me today what happends if...? well he is a bit weird and he comes out with strange things, usually things i can explain to him, but this i did not no. here's what he said "i no what happens if a guy takes viagra, but what happens if a women takes it, would he clit or something get bigger, cause its kinda like a penis inst it?" i laugh then said i really don't no, ill search the internet later. so what happens if a women takes viagra?

veryitalianguy replied: "get a life."

mymuttsrock replied: "I think it's suppose to be kind of like a high, like taking E"

deneric | determination =D replied: "it wouldn't get bigger...and I don't really know, I wouldn't suggest it though."

snowwhite replied: "As with men, Viagra gets the blood flowing to the genitals in women. So for women who have difficulty achieving orgasm, vaginal dryness or a lack of sensation, arousal or engorgement, Viagra may help."

Kristyn E replied: "I asked someone that same question once. They told me that one of their female friends tried it on accident and ended up being paralyzed temporarily."

What to do if husband has erectile difficultey's? Ok, I am a young woman, (25) and my husband whom is older, is having the trouble as I mentioned avove, I try to be patient, but it is really, really hard to be. We have tried med's like Viagra, and other's that are new out, it doesnt work, and he is not taking boold pressure meds, and has no health problem's. I am getting restless, and don't want to cheat on him, but it is tempting sometimes..what are your opionion's or advice on this subject?

sk jolly replied: "This happens at he elderly age. Take him to a sexologist."

funkykomadina replied: "get some porn and toys and stuff like that. men need visual guidence as well as hands-on training and experiences. men look at sex like a starving man that gets a cracker... he's gonna eat the same cracker for a month and say "i want a cheeseburger". so turn him on with new, fun, and exciting things!"

sevsev replied: "my boyfriend had a very similar problem and your right it is VERY hard becuase your wondering if he has lost feelings or finds you less attractive ect talk to your family doctor it may be a deeper problem my boyfriend went to a specialist and they figured out it was stress he didnt acknoledge and it built up and eventually just "lost it" he couldnt keep up up for more then five minutes at a time and it was fustrating to both of us my advice would be to be there for him and dont cheaton him that will only make it worse go see a specialist they will be able to figure out whats going on good luck"

doogie replied: "erectile dysfunction is highly associated with emotional problem, fatigue and stress. Try to talk to each other and find time to have a vacation where you and your husband can be relaxed."

emmie replied: "sometimes when men get older they have trouble with getting an erection. dont worry theres nothing wrong with it. but i can see how you could get restless. dont worry. have you tried seeing a doctor?? they could probably get him on some kind of a medication. and the worst thing you can do is cheat on him! it obviosly isnt his fault he cant get erect! good luck!"

cookie_time replied: "Since being diagnosed with a pituitary tumor, I have been trying to let people know about the symptoms. Many doctors don't think to check. For men, this is just one of the symptoms. Not trying to worry you... there are many things that could be causing your husband's ED. But if you would like to find out more about pituitary tumors, go to"

cavexxxman replied: "if viagara is not working for him....than the best option is to change the man....or live your life sexxless,,which is not posible for a woman at your age. Act fast before you start having sexxual malfunctions.....good luck."
