Will Nystatin and Triamcinolone Acetonide cream help to prevent acne and fade acne marks? i've been using it. im just wondering if anyone else has used it and noticed less breakouts as well as past acne marks fade?

ohemgeeitsmee replied: "I have never heard of it. However, you should try Clean and Clear. I have used it, and it works wonders trust me. :)"

Do you use Nystatin and Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream....? Is it for a yeast infection? Do you know? It was prescribed to me a while ago and don't remeber what it is for. Thanks for the answers in advance. 10pts to the best.

dehall910 replied: "It is an antifungal and corticosteroid cream or ointment. The combination treats Candida (yeast) infections of the skin and helps to reduce the swelling, redness, and itching that may occur with these infections."

My friend used nystatin and triamcinolone acetonide cream for her private parts...and it expired 2/8/08// ? Richard_again replied: "You could try anti-histimenes"

moemindy replied: "it should go away in about a day is my guess."

Nystatin-Neomycin Sulfate-Thiostrepton-Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream ? My roomate's dog has a blister on his leg and the vet gave him Nystatin-Neomycin Sulfate-Thiostrepton-Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream... My chihuahua got the tube and swallowed the cream. But he seems fine - will he be OK??

ladykenmax replied: "Call the poison control center and ask them. Or call the emergency line at your vet's office and ask him. Better safe than sorry."

SZO replied: "Since this is a topical medication which your chihuahua ingested, nothing serious will happen, unless he is allergic to any of the ingredients. The only thing that would probably happen is to have a tummy ache. In any case, it will just pass through the stools."

Does This Cream Work For Ance? Well i have the worse cause of Ance and my Grandmother gave me this Cream called: Fougera Nystatin and Triamcinolone Acetinide Cream USP....I know really long.. but i dont know if itz good for ance...If anyone knows please tell me

versantly replied: "depends on whether or not a fungal infection is causing your acne. your dermatologist will tell you."

Katie Cullen replied: "not sure your dermatoligist can help you. Make sure its NOt Expired!!!"

Edward Cullen+Nick Jonas=my life replied: "its acne not ance! learn how to spell!!"

Can i still have sex, with this cream still on there? My boyfriend scratched my vagina, and ever since then- my vagina had been irritated, burning, and itches. So, i went to the doctor, and they prescribed me "NYSTATIN AND TRIAMCINOLONE ACETONIDE CREAM" Which is also used on babies for rashes or...irritation in the diaper area. My doctor said i can not pass it or give it to anybody. So, could i still be able to have sex? Should i not put the cream on their before my date?

Froggie replied: "Who do you think should answer this? Ask your DOCTOR!!!!!!!!!!!!"

x3babygirlx37 replied: "put the cream on and becareful about sweat or anything else getting in there that could cause infection."

saxcrazy2007 replied: "Whether you can or not I don't recommend it, cos it won't do you any favours. Your vag will probably hurt more and if the cream gets on your boyfriend it might irritate his skin. This makes it less fun for both of you!"

The Googje replied: "Doctor should answer this, and well can you wait?! my real question is why did he scratch your vag, dosnt seem fun to me.."

breezy replied: "I am sorry you are going through this, it must be awful! Have you seen a dermatologist? Maybe it is something fungal? I have been doing some serching around the medical journals and such, but haven't seen anything that resembles your symptoms yet. I will post back if I do. I know this is a silly and personal question, but are you wearing cotton/breathable undergraments and looser fitting pants? Sometimes that really helps, keeps the air circulating."

kourtney_diva1719 replied: "i dont think you should just wait till ur done using the cream and put the cream on rught before you go to sleep.make sure you don't have to pee and your gonna be in bed 4 good"

xxamhxx replied: "I would avoid sex if you can. Wait untill it clears up."

JustMe..(L) replied: "If your going to have sex don't put the cream on. For example say if you was going to have sex at night .. or you think you might then put the cream on morning - midday or around then to allow the cream to set properly. Don't put it on an hour or so before because it may cause an infection in your vagina. Put the cream on when your meant to, but just be careful so it doesn't go inside."

My doctor suggested vicks with my anti-fungal cream for a fingernail infection, but is it safe? I went to the doctor for a light fingernail fungus infection, and I was perscribed Nystatin and Triamcinolone Acetonide cream. The doctor also told me to use it with vicks to help it work. I read from a home remedies website that some people have been cured by using Vicks Vaporub [ ] However...while looking up the instructions for how to apply it correctly I found this [ ] And it said that vicks can not only be damaging to your nailbeds but can cause PERMINATE LOSS TO YOUR FINGERNAILS! Not something I wanted to hear! Now I'm a bit worried, what do I do now? It's not illegal for Vicks to have the side effects listed for something they are not licensed to treat. Due to the fact that vicks is not an FDA approved treatment for fingernail fungus they are not required by law to list any negative side effects it may have when used as an anti-fungal cream. Also doctors don't always "know best" A doctorate in medicine doesn't make you impervious to mistakes, and has anyone ever heard of malpratice? However I do think Anti-Vicks site may be sponsored by a nail fungus cream, and I do generally trust my doctor. Thanks very much for your testimonial, after some more research I think vicks is exactly what I'm going to use. However, it was my -doctor- who reccomended Vicks to me, the website is the one that tried to scare me away from the product, and I believe that's a marketing ploy for an anti-fungal cream.

replied: "Word of Truth: the doctor know best! He is a licensed official who has been trained for at least FIVE years in the study of medicine! This web site is likely sponsored by a competitor. If you still feel unsure, check your product. It should have a list labeled "warnings" which will provide you with any and every possible side effect (it is illegal for them NOT to have this). Good luck :D"

Baby Poots replied: "I have toenail fungus and can tell you that Vicks Vaporub is the only remedy, short of having my toenails removed, that has alleviated my toenail fungus. My mother medicated me and my three siblings with Vicks Vaporub for colds--rubbing it under our noses and on our chests. I don't think my toenails or fingernails are going to suffer from being massaged with Vicks! Of course, the majority of doctors want you to believe that "the Vicks cure" may be damaging to your nails. Something as simple as Vicks will take thousands of dollars away from their livelihood."

I have a tattoo that I think is getting infected, what should I use and can i use this? can I use nystatin and triamcinolone acetonide cream on a tattoo I think is getting infected? It is anti fungal

Crazy replied: "No I would use neosporin its an antibiotic ointment the stuff you are talking about is for athletes foot/ringworm right?"

Flip replied: "no, I got 9 tattoos and the best thing to use is vaseline, and just air dry it when you dont have vaseline on it. So rotate, air dry it and vaseline, you cant go wrong, oh ya what ever you do, do not pick the scabs, let it heal on its own."

whats d use replied: "TREAT IT LIKE AN OPEN WOUND , DISINFECT IT WITH, antibacterial soap like Dial, pour hydrogen peroxide, put plenty of Neosporing or any antibacterial cream then cover it with a sterile gauze and tape it . "

Vickie Lynn replied: "dial antibacterial soap and a&d ointment do not use neosporin like that guy said!"

lhmkc replied: "Don't use peroxide. Go back to your aftercare instructions. What makes you think it is infected? Have you check with the artist or a doctor? Tattoo healing is different then a cut healing scabs are not infection just healing process. If you happen to have gooey puss coming out or red lines not part of the design running out of the ink go back to the shop and ask. If you have the puss or the red lines go to the ER or your doc. Otherwise follow your aftercare. Tattoos can take several weeks to heal completely."

yeast infection? i think i have an yeast infection.. sorry to be so graphic this morning when i went to the bathroom, i wiped off thick white stuff just like the cottage cheese i read online. its kinda disgusting.. it looked kinda pale greenish or maybe the thickness made the color a little offwhite idonno. it doesnt smell either. it was itchy a few days ago but not itchy today with the discharges.. weird. my mom gave me a cream "nystatin and triamcinolone acetone cream" to apply to the affected area. i feel weird asking this but how do i apply it? inside my vagina or around the area.

Meredith H replied: "Both inside and around. Then your for sure you have gotten the infectted area."

Sarah S replied: "Both inside and outside. Mainly inside though."

abear1983 replied: "first, if this is your first yeast infection then it is best to go see your gyno to make sure it is that. this way you are not trying to treat something that it might not be. next, your gyno will tell you what product they recommend for you to use until it clears up."

joecseko replied: "Directly from their Website: The answer is around ONLY! This is a list of other considerations, after I say one thing. Eat yogurt! I know, sounds crazy, but the acidopholus in the yogurt is transformed into hydrogen peroxide in your body, killing the fungal infection. Now, from the drug manufacturer's site: Proper use of this medication Not for ophthalmic use {16} {25} Checking with physician before using medication on other skin problems Applying a thin layer of medication to affected area and rubbing in gently and thoroughly Not applying occlusive dressing over this medication unless directed to do so by physician; wearing loose-fitting clothing when using on inguinal area; avoiding tight-fitting diapers and plastic pants on diaper area of children {16} {25} Compliance with full course of therapy; not using more often or longer than directed by physician; excessive use on thin skin areas may result in skin atrophy and stretch marks Proper dosing Missed dose: Applying as soon as possible; not applying if almost time for next dose Proper storage Precautions while using this medication Using hygienic measures to cure infection or prevent reinfection; keeping affected area as cool and dry as possible {10} Checking with physician if no improvement within 2 or 3 weeks {10}"

don't worry be happy! replied: "i agree with abear... because it could be much more than a yeast infection. go get tested because you could have an std. (im not calling you out or anything..) but it's very important because if it goes un check your fallopian tubes can get scarred and you will be sterile. (can't have babies forever :[ ) GET TO A GYNO. have a nice day!"

Counsellor Oneil replied: "It looks like it is a yeast infection. The cream your mom has given is right one , but sometimes yeast infection does not get fully cured and pop up again. It is better to show to a gynecologist who along with cream may give you some tablets."

Weenie Dog* replied: "there's this thing called canestin you can use and apparently the yeast infection is gone in a week !!"

divya replied: "Your mother does not be diagnosing you. You need to see a doctor. Nystatin/Triamcinolone should not be used internally. I can't believe a mother would do that to her child! See a doctor or there are OTC tests to see if it is a yeast infection. See a Pharmacist and ask for some advice...I'm sure they will give a lot better advice than your mother did."

Brittney D replied: "both"

Jenn replied: "I agree that you should see a doctor!!! It could be bacterial, and the cream won't really help it. You also need yeast infection cream that you can inject inside of you, to thoroughly kill the bad yeast causing the infection. But if it is bacterial, you need antibiotics."

my nipple are sore and red Hi My baby is 3 month old ,and my nipples still sore and red >it was infection in the begining and I use antibacteria cream and Nystatin and triamcinolone acetonide cream but it still hurt me a lot and still soreand red and some times is bleeding , I stop breastfeeding direct I use breast pump and give him the beast milk in the bottle (no formula ) breast feeding !!! :( :( :(

Erin B replied: "I had very sore nipples as well when I was breast feeding. Call your doctor or ask to speak with a nurse and ask them what you can use. I ended up getting a prescription nipple cream to keep them moisturized. The cream was safe for the baby and the milk as well. Sorry, I can't remember the name of it. :("

lalalalala replied: "Are you sure your not still dealing with thrush. I would say you may have not completely cleared up the thrush. Nystatin has been known to sometimes take several weeks to a couple months to completely clear up a case of thrush. Also..... the pump is more irriatating then actually letting the baby nurse. It doesn't extract milk the same way or as gently as baby..... believe it or not. I find the breast pump to be VERY uncomfortable at times..... and it cause my nipples to become very swollen."

Canadamama2 replied: "This worked for me! You have to treat both of you at the same time or you will just keep "ping-ponging" the infection back and forth. Good luck! I did this and in 2 weeks it was gone. "
